The CHALLENGE

The challenge before us was to integrate TikTok into an established media mix while staying competitive within a channel that has shown incredible growth in recent years.


The primary message we aimed to convey was a mix of an inspirational and emotional connection to the country and a feeling of “can’t miss” with informational content that left some value for the consumer.


THE APPROACH

The focus markets were primarily the US, UK, and Canada that have visited the website in the last 90 days.


As we were integrating Blue Car Rental into TikTok as a new channel without a lot of brand trust within the TikTok space, we focused on delivering content that created intrigue and delivered conversions through demand platforms such as Google Search and Bing, while looking at conversions through TikTok as a secondary goal.


THE RESULTS

The results through TikTok were beyond our expectations, and we saw a very positive response almost immediately.


The results supported the theory that TikTok is a primary platform within the media mix and will be very scalable in the near future.
